Summary

  • Automate local certificates updates with certbot
  • Pull them from VPS
  • Distribute among the local web-servers

Before this role, local web-servers certificates had to be managed manually. Now it becomes completely automatic. Systemd runs certbot on VPS -> post-renew hook pushes certificates to cert-proxy host -> ansible maintenance playbook distributes the certificates
